Senior Systems Engineer – 100%

As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Data Engineering, you will play a central role in the development and scaling of high-performance systems for processing large volumes of data. You will design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and integrations between different systems and data sources. You will ensure high performance, stability, and data quality, and actively contribute to the further development of the technical infrastructure. In addition, you will assume technical leadership of projects, support less experienced developers with technical questions, and contribute to the design of the system architecture and the long-term technical strategy.

Technical requirements

Several years of professional experience in software development, ideally in the field of data engineering or backend development
Excellent knowledge of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript or comparable programming languages
Experience in the development and optimization of data pipelines as well as data integration
Solid knowledge of handling APIs and interface connections
Experience in processing structured and unstructured data
Knowledge of handling large amounts of data and their efficient and scalable processing.
Experience with automation solutions and cross-system integrations
Understanding of modern software architectures and cloud-based environments is advantageous.
Experience in the technical management of projects or teams is an advantage.
